I was recently giving a couple of wines from friends who were had just sold their restaurant. Does anyone know anything ie value, taste, drink now or save, storage suggestions etc... on the following:
Alatamura Sangiovese 1995
Figimi Gavi 1998
Leapfrogmilch 1998
Campo Veigo Roija Reserva 1995
Coudoulet de Beaucastel Cotes du Rhone 1997
I have put in the names that are on the labels. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I know the Leapfrogmilch (unfortunately). It's made by Frog's Leap and it's a poor attempt at a German style wine. Very dilute, somewhat sweet and just kind of blah. If I remember, it's made from Riesling and Chenin Blanc.

Most sound like wines you could drink now. I would wait for someone else to comment on the Cotes du Rhone--that sounds like it might be on a slightly better level than the others and might be worth holding a few years. I am not familiar enough with southern French wines to venture an opinion on its maturity.
