I have just discovered the joys of wine. Is there a document or a book that provides details on the correct pronunciation for the various products.

Welcome to the board Liz. For an on-line dictionary with audio, see http://www.stratsplace.com/winepronon_dict.html

Both the authors of "Dummy" books (and all are great), and Andrea Immer have pronunciation descriptors throughout their books. There are others as well, but these are very widely available.

Thank you for the responses.. I think both the inputs are valuable.

the "for dummies" books about wine are suprisingly good books. I own 3 (wine for dummies, Italian wines for dummies, and French wines for dummies) and I consult them often. Fun and informative reads.
