I enjoy wine, but prefer the sweeter red wines and medium to light white whites (a touch sweet as well)
my biggest problem is going to a store and finding 1000 different types without really knowing if it is stong, heavy, sweet etc..
It seems that the artfull, fancy prose on the labels is not always helpfull.
What types of wine are generally on the sweet side?
thanks

Hi mhix and welcome to the board. The reason noone has answered you query is that there's no recipe for winemaking 101. All grapes can be made dry or sweet. I suggest you find a good retailer that you like and take advice from him/her on the individual bottles. After you drink enough different labels you'll be able to pick yourself. WW
