my friend has a bottle of late 60's, early 70's wine called LeDmaine. it's a corked bottle unopened. is this worth anything? thanks, bobby

Hi Drak, and welcome to the Wine Board. Are you sure you have the name right? The exact year and type of wine is important too.

Probably not worth anything.

Among the things most people who don't know anything about their 40 year old bottle of wine don't know is how to take care of a wine for 40 years so that it is still worth something.

Nice diplomatic response, Brom...drak, the wine is probably gone and you have to forgive Brom for his unsensitive response. Just for a good time, pop the wine and have a back up ready. Please post your impressions. BTW, welcome to the board.
