Hi, I am new to wine. I haven't really tried any, so I don't know what I would like. I like fruity drinks, so are there any wines out there that taste fruity?

Hi Goober, and welcome to the Wine Board. Almost all wine is fruity to some degree. For reds look for Beaujolais Villages or California Syrah. For whites look for Riesling or Gewurztraminer.

You may want to try a variety of red wines first if you're looking for "fruity." White wines tend to be a bit on the dry side, or at least that has been my experience.

That may well be true about some reds and some whites. I tend to find white wines in general to be fruitier than red wines.
