- leafs_fan - 09-20-2006 Hi, newbie here. My roommate had an unopened bottle of champaign in the fridge, which I took out and left on the counter. He said that I ruined the champaign by doing that. Can someone please tell me if this is true that champaign can be spoiled by removing it from the fridge? Thx - Innkeeper - 09-20-2006 Hi Leafs_fan, and welcome to Wine Board. LEAFS NATION! - leafs_fan - 09-21-2006 The champaign has been out of the fridge for a few days, does that matter? And if not, does that mean that a bottle of champaign is actually spoiled if opened while at room temperature? - Innkeeper - 09-21-2006 It should be OK. Chill before opening. |
