I friend gave me a bottle of 1985 Mondavi Cabernet. I opened it last night, but the taste was not as pleasant as I expected it. What could have been the problem? the year? the way it was stored? Thank you so much.
Also, what can you say about a 1975 cabernet, also from Mondavi. Thank you so very much and all the best!

Even the 85 Reserve is fading terribly.
