Where can I buy a good wine storage fridge on the internet or possibly a retailer in my area, LI, NY
also, is this the proper term refrigerator, are wine fridges different than standard refrigerators

Welcome, Nicole. Suggest you drill down the list of topics to the bottom and select "Storage/cellars/racking" under "Resources & Other Stuff". You'll find several discussions there on the same subject.

A unit that I bought last year at Sam's Wholesale Club has worked well for me. It was made in China by HEC (whoever that is) and the price was $299. It holds about 34 bottles. There are many other brands available, mostly through mail order catalogs and Internet Web sites; try www.wineenthusiast.com for one.

You can spend as much money as you could ever want to on wine storage. About seven months ago I bought a Eurocave 260 1-Temp (from Wine Enthusiast), but the price was a whole lot more than any $299!
Best wishes.
Gil

Highly recommend Kedco Wine Storage Systems, 564 Smith Street, Farmingdale, LI; 631-454-7800. Can also be found through www.sweets.com. Ask for Ken Windt or Helene Buckner. Just bought some equipment from Ken, and knew his late father Lou very well. A great guy and honast businessman.
