It seems like every wine I have tasted has too much of an alcohol taste. Maybe I'm just not cut out for wine!!?? I'm hoping it's just because I haven't found the right one yet. I've tasted a couple of different wines at restaurants, and my husband brought back some Potugese wines, and I haven't liked any of it!!

~sigh~

Maybe you just can't tolerate alcohol. But I repeat my suggestion that you try a fruity wine like a Mosel wine (Wehlener Sonnenuhr perhaps) at the Spatlese level (late picked, ripe grapes) for a white, or a Fleurie, Cru Beaujolais for a red. Or maybe Lambrusco, a red Italian wine that is often bubbly and slightly sweet.
Or you could try Sangria which has fruit juices (and in the pitcher, often pieces of fruit) with the grape juice.

Brooke, if the Lambrusco's there are like the ones in Bama, I think you'll like them.
My Wife doesn't do alcohol either. But she loves
the Reunite Lambrusco...... Good Sweet Wine.
