I have this little blog set up, and last week I talked about how I was looking for the best $15 bottle of wine. While I certainly enjoy flavorful, expensive bottles of wine, and who doesn't, I want to find that great $15 everyday wine. If you have suggestions, please let me know. As you can see in my blog http://denver.yourhub.com/Blog.aspx?contentid=75302 in one of the comments posted, someone mentioned a store that sells bottles that are $15 are less. And while that is useful information, I'm looking for specific wine suggestions.

Suggest you read the posts under the wines you like,ie. Cabernet, Pinot, Chardonnay etc. There are literally hundreds of posts with tasting notes and prices on this board. That's what we do here alla' time. WW

Try some Chardonnay from Western Australia; I believe you'll be impressed with the quality for around the range you're looking for. Others are out there, but hard to find. Most seem out of balance for one reason or another, but still fun to quaff. I'd like to see some tasting notes of what you do try anyway. Welcome to the board and thanks for the challenge.
Side note: Being specific, Goundry, Salitage, That's off the top of my head; Others are out there.

For reds look to Rhones, Sangioveses, Beaujolais. For sparklers, try St. Hillaire Blanquette de Limoux Brut. It's been rated to be as good as a decent NV Champagne

Thank you for the advice! I look forward to trying these. Also, I have yet to find a good less-expensive malbec. Have any of you had that same problem?

Catena is a reliable producer of Malbec at around $15, sometimes a few dollars more, depending on the location. Altos las Hormigas is a good one at around $10-12. Terrazas de los Andes would be another suggestion, running around $10 in these parts.
