Congratulations on your job. The most popular wines in the world are cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. This is despite what you read by the geeks around here and on other sites, and in wine literature. In your part of the world you will find many wonderful examples of both these wines at all price points made in Australia. If you can find American wines from those two grapes, so much the better. French wines will be called Red Bordeaux and White Burgundy, but are made primarily from the same two grapes.
