My daughter received a bottle of fleur de champagne perrier jouet 1985 as a wedding gift 10 years ago. Her aniversary its coming up and she has been saving this bottle of champagne for a special ocasion, she would like to know if its still ok to drink. Also I will to get her a bottle of same 1985 campagne as a anniverary gift, how much should I expect to pay for it. thank you

Somebody else will have to comment on prices of 1985 Champagnes generally, but I had a bottle of Belle Epoque 1985 in October and I can tell you that it was on stunning form, with promise to improve even further. However, it really does depend on storage conditions, which should be cool (consistent temperature is more important than actual degree) and dark. If it has been properly stored, your daughter can expect to experience a truly great Champagne.
