I am doing a report for my class, Design: Color. The color related topic I chose was "Color and Wine." I've been doing alot of research, but I don't know what I'll do for my demonstration and visual aids. My college does not allow alcohol on campus. Any ideas on how to capture the color? I'm thinking about maybe a reisling, a pino, and a cab for my wines, would a rose be required?

Maybe a poster or color photos of different wines or even color posters or photos of different varieties of grapes on the vine. You might be able to pull down photos from some websites. A German web site has good photos of the grapes. Maybe you could talk about the spillover into fashion--i.e., champagne colored evening wear (or lingerie) or burgundy colored bridesmaid dresses.

You might also check the professional wine publications such as Food and Wine or the Wine Spectator for color pictures of labels and bottles to include in your report.

Thank you! I think I will have pictures. I want to show how to analyze hue, clarity and intensity, and how to hold a glass. Perhaps plastic glasses and grape juice? Would that be cheesy or a good demonstration?
