figured i'd post the link here to my interview with kevin zraly. people just getting into wine can't find a better guide than his book, "Windows on the World Complete Wine Course"

Great article. The book that turn me in to a wino was Windows of the World Complete Wine Course... I still us it for quick references.

What a neat guy! I like his candid answers to your questions. Seems like a great guy to hang out with and drink some serious juice.

Newsguy,
I read the article, kevin zraly's approach to wine is very similar to this website (i.e., intelligent but not stuffy). It disappoints me that so many people become know-it-alls about wine. Truth is, there are so many wines i don't think i'll ever learn it all. I do want to start a wine collection so i plan on relying on this site for many years to come...

We look forward to your postings. You live in an area that has some great restaurants and wine shops so you should have fun exploring the world of wine.

I have admired Zraly since buying his book decades ago. For me, it was also my introductory reference and I still use it for quick refs. WOW book was our first exposure to Mdme. Bollinger's infamous quote. That alone guaranteed we'd never forget this book.
