I have had the pleasure of receiving wines as gifts. But I usually get wines I do not know much about. Here are three:

1997 Quintessa Rutherford - Red Wine
1993 Barrel Reserve Randall Monroe Cabernet
1998 Pine Ridge Cabernet - Rutherford

What can I find out about them? I am always curious about the price. Finally, would you open and enjoy now or hold and enjoy later ---- if later how much later

thanks

Hi rnf and welcome to the board. Not familiar with the Randall Moore but most wines from the 93 vintage are drinking well at the present. The 97 Quintessa and the 98 Pine Ridge are both fine bottles and can take another 2-4 years for the Pine Ridge aand 3 for the Quintessa. WW
