Looking for a sweet red wine, not too dry, for those with a heart condition can drink. Medically, the merlots are great for the heart, but I have found them to be too dry for my palate.

Hi Peggersp, and welcome to the Wine Board. Have you tried Sutter Home Merlot? If so, and you found it too dry, you better look for something other than merlot. You might want to try a Lambrusco from Italy.

Try Benzinger. Good fruity non dry stuff.

Australia's Yellow Tail Merlot isn't dry at all. And its only about 6 bucks to boot.
