Yesterday, I posted a question on this board and I seem to have offended some of the members, which I had no intention of doing. It would appear that someone had agressively pushed a product on the wine board, a product which my company now represents. I am in no way trying to force any members of the wine community to try something they feel they have no interest in. I am only looking to get some suggestions on how I might further educate myself (i.e. a particular book or website, etc.) on different styles of wine. I have looked in the archives at past replies about this particular product and I can see there are some definite opinions either way about it. Please accept my apology if I have stirred up any trouble as it was not my intention to do so. I truly believe this product works, as I sell many products to the food service/restaurant industry, and don't sell ANYTHING that I have not personally used myself. In any case, if someone could please suggest a good source of information, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

If you don't know styles of wines, which include flavor profiles relative to age, how could you possibly endorse a product that purports to quickly age wine, stating "I truly believe this product works"? I would recommend "Wine for Dummies" and "The Wall Street Journal Guide to Wine" by Gaiter and Brecher, good introduction books. Then taste, taste, and taste...with notes. Make sure you taste aged wines including over the hill ones so you understand what aging does to wines both positively and negatively and when you think you got that down THEN demo your product and make an INFORMED judgement regarding your products worth and come back to us with your findings.
