I am needing some suggestions for a good sweet red wine...can anyone help me?

Welcome to the board. Go to the home page: www.wines.com and look under Frequently Asked Questions. There is an answer there about sweet red wines. I should add that you need to look under "Learn about Wine" on the home page and then click for a link to frequently asked questions.
