Is this a good wine.

"Domaine Moreau & Uils or Vils
Maison Fondee en 1814 Chablis Grand Era
Valmur. Bottled A Chablis (Yonne)France.

The person who gave it to me kept in a cabinet obove the stove. The wine looks kind of redish yellow. This person had no idea if it was good or not.

Should I drink it dump it?

Thanks for your help.

By the way it's Vintage 1986.

You have a well cooked version of what was once a lovely, steely, flinty, chardonnay from Chablis. Rule of thumb: red wine gets lighter when it goes bad, white wine gets darker when it goes bad.
