Some one recently shared information regarding the cork. This question was asked within a circle of F&B managers. "How many rings in a cork?" Several people responded with the answer of 5. I have researched the internet and have not been able to document this. Can anyone help?

Interesting. It appears your friends think there are rings in a cork, as there are in wood. Cork is made from the bark of the cork oak mainly from Portugal. There are no rings in bark - it's in the wood.
