I would like to know where I can purchase Masciarelli 2001 Montepulciano d'Abruzzo in Chicago.

Thanks

Welcome to the board, Logan. Wine-searcher.com indicates it's in NY and CA, so it should be available in Chicago. Try Sam's..... the big wine outlet, not the wholesale club.

If it is on wine lists up here, it's available in Chicago.

That's a high volume production wine that I see at many shops and restaurants. You should be able to find it fairly easily at many of your local shops, and at a very decent price. I remember just a few years ago when it was $15 in restaurants. Btw, if you can't find it and you really want it, ask the wine manager at your local wine shop to bring it in - they will.

Hi Logan,

As some have mentioned, definately try Sams. I would also try Binny's and Armenetti's as well.

I know for a fact that Sams & Binny's both have search engines on their sites that you can see if they carry it.

We killed an '03 tonight with Greek Chicken Pilaf. Great Tuesday night!
