I am making a Mascarpone Cheesecake for desssert on Thankgiving. What wine would be appropriate to serve with it?

I am a huge port fan with cheesecake. However, I find most others like white stickies with it. Late harvest stuff is really nice with it too.

Recommend Bonny Doon Muscat Vin de Glaciere which is widely distributed or 2004 Tobin James Charisma (www.tobinjames.com). Don't know where you live and there is little time for an web order. Hopefully you can find the Bonny Doon wherever you are.

I like the Bonny Doon rec. You might also be able to do a demi sec sparkler, or perhaps a sweeter Prosecco.

Moscato d'Asti gets my vote. Mascarpone makes a less dense, more delicate cheesecake. So, unless you plan to smother it in chocolate or other heavily flavored topping, M d'A should be a nice pairing.
