I have a 1990 bottle of Simi Cabernet Sauvignon Centennial Edition from California. I was wondering if anyone could tell me the perfect age to drink this one. I also wondered what price range this wine would fall into this year at 10 years old and if the price would increase in coming years. The label states that it could be aged well into the next century.

Looks like we older types have more experiance with the 1980 than the 1990 Simi. It should be fully mature and ready to drink right now. If you have some special event coming up it the next few years, it should hold for that. Single bottles of wine, like stocks, may have paper value, but that doesn't amount of hill of beans until you are ready to sell. It is very difficult to move single bottles at auction unless they are very rare or special. Normally, case lots or oversize bottles are what move at auctions.
