- tw - 02-16-2006 Here goes another one of those stupid you should know this question, but here goes. When you see someone say hey you should age that bottle for 10 years or see an aging potential on a bottle of 5-10 years. Are they saying five years from vintage or five years from release date. Thanks, Chris - brappy - 02-16-2006 I don't believe this is a stupid question. How about when the reviewer states the wine will go another 6-10yrs. I find myself looking for the date of the review. I'm guessing here, but I believe the answer is: it depends on the context in which it is said. But most of the time, the years from vintage, not release, I believe are intended. mark PS What is happening to the Badgers this year? WW - VouvrayHead - 02-17-2006 badgers went through rough stretch after some important role-players went down with injury or academic ineligibility. they're back, will finish in top tier of big 10, make it to sweet 16 and be done. |
