- monie - 10-08-2003 hello... I'm rather new at this, but i was hopping to find some answers. I am trying to have a company wine day. Our VP is a huge wine fanatic!!! I would love to find someone who can come into the office and give some wine lessons to the employees. where can i find someone to do that on site? - Innkeeper - 10-08-2003 Hi Monie, and welcome to the Wine Board. We have a resident wine educator from Nu Yawk right here on the Wine Board. Goes by the handle of Foodie. If he doesn't respond soon, e-mail me off the Talk With Your Moderators thread, and I will put you in touch with him. - ShortWiner - 10-08-2003 My first recommendation would be that you talk to foodie, who frequents this site. I'm sure he'll be along any moment now. He runs a wonderful wine shop in the city (is Whitestone nearby? I don't know it) called is-wine and does seminars such as the one you're thinking about. Sounds like a great idea to me! Check out www.is-wine.com - Thomas - 10-08-2003 Well, here I am. Thanks guys. Yes monie, we do training programs; check out www.is-wine.com for more information. I will be out of the country from 10-13 to 10-31.Hope your program is for after October, so that I can be the one to do it. But we have others who can do a program too, so give a call: 212 254 7800. |
