I want to buy a nice dinner wine for the one friend of whom I normally ask wine advice. Without him to help me, I am lost! I have a very small selection to choose from, and yet still I cannot make a choice. Among these, which would my wine-savvy friend recognize as "the best", assuming that he would enjoy any of them as a dinner wine?

Welcome to the board, Banna. I would view the Zenato Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC 2000 as being the most "gift-worthy" of those on your list.

As the most gift-worthy, is it *particularly* gift-worthy, or is mine a poor selection?
