First time on the board but glad to be here. Unfortunately we have a very limited selection of wines. We have some Berringers and Gallo. Having no experience in the area what would you recommend for with dinner. thank you

Hi Gtmo, and welcome to the Wine Board. It would help a lot if you could tell us what you're having for dinner and where you are from (hope it's isn't Gtmo). Been there, don't like it. Your selection does sound like PX fare.

Thanks for the reply. We are having Turkey, Honey Baked Ham,Greenbean cassorle, potatoes and salad. Yes you are correct I am here and it is px selection. As I mentioned we have some Beringers and Gallo. Merry Christmas to all and have a happy holiday.

If you can get a pinot noir from either of them, that should work. If, not, try to get a riesling for the turkey, and maybe a merlot for the ham. If they have Gallo's Ecco Romani brand, go with it. If they have any of their more up scale wines, try them. If they have Berringer's Founder's Estate wines, go with them. Again, pinot is the best choice for both. My heart is with you, and God bless.
