Can anyone recommend a very buttery/creamy/oaky chardonnay?

Hi Lancet and welcome to the Wine Board. Just about any New World Chard you can find that does not say something like unwooded or unoaked or oak free on the label. For an inexpensive one try Forest Glen.

Gee, if I made that post exactly one hour later it would have been 06/06/06/06/06.

Thanks for the advice, although I don't think Forest Glen is available in the UK. I will look out for it on my next visit to the USA!

Well you should have many Chards from Oz over in England. Didn't know where you lived because you didn't fill out all the registration information.
