I may not be a novice to wine, but I have never expressed my opinions. I do not have the vocabulary that some of you have and therefore tend to be a bit intimidated when it comes to sharing each nights bottle with you all. I recently had a great Laughing Jack Shiraz that I just can't even put into words. Certain things come to mind like "smokey" and "meaty" but if I used the wrong term I would feel foolish. Tell me I'm crazy and I will start sharing with you guys and gals. I just don't want anyone thinking, who does this guy think he is. By the way, I'm glad I found this site and come here every day right off.

Egads, GAD, have you read winoweenie's posts? Talk about descriptors. And then there's Bucko's recent post, http://www.wines.com/ubb2/Forum9/HTML/000521.html, he says "pretty nice" and "zowwee", and he's a Moderator. I know I appreciate anyone and everyones posts so post up a storm. It's fun to talk to people from around our Country and the World about wine and experiences....I'm certainly no expert, I just like to drink wine and talk about it. Drews' rite on there GAD ole bean. This site was cofounded by one of the most prolific wine drinkers I've met who also happened to have a mag dealing with it. He despised the wine snobs he met daily and found pretense about our beloved juice untenable. Some of his most memorable descriptors I remember off the top are " a real KICK-ASS bottle "
" any respectible cat would disdain this crap " and " These vines must have been imported from Mongolia ". Just write your impressions and believe me, we'll be able to decipher 'em. POST ON BRO. WW
