- Brenda Lee - 08-18-2000 I am not a drinker of any sort, but my mother has had a major surgury and cannot eat. The doctor has informed us that a red wine will help her to be able to eat. Please if there is anyone out there that can give me a name of a very sweet red wine I would be so grateful..mother had surgery for an anurisum, and she also my have lung cancer so please someone help me....PLEASE - winecollector - 08-18-2000 I would recommend that you take a trip down to your local wine store, and see what they have in inexpensive "jug" wines. Wines such as Country Lake, or Cribari, would likely meet your needs, but I don't know if they are available in your area. You should easily be able to find something comparable with some help from a local wine merchant. You can usually purchase a gallon of these wines for around $10, and they are usually enjoyable to people that don't normally drink wine regularly. Hope this helps. - winoweenie - 08-18-2000 Brenda, You can also find Manischewitz wines everywhere. Their Elderberry or Concord Grape wine Should fit your needs perfectly. winoweenie ( and they`re Kosher to boot) |
