Hi all,

I am not much of a wine drinker, but I have a few bottles of wine that I want to donate to a good cause (they are having a fund-raising auction) but I don't know if I should donate these bottles or not. Can you help me out?
I do know they've been stored cool and dark.
I hope these don't make anyone cringe or reel back in horror. I know nothing about wine, but that's why I am here.

o Glen-Ellen Proprietors's Reserve Red
(red dinner wine) 18th in a series of 99
Not sure what year, maybe 1994
(what ever happened to this winery?)

o Parducci Cabernet Sauvignon North Coast
1994

o Hacienda Merlot 1996 Claire de Lune

o domaine St. George 97 chardonnay

o Corbett Canyon 99 Chardonnay

o Charles Shaw 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon

o Fetzer 99 echo ridge Gewurtztraminer

o J.W. Morris 99 Merlot

o J.W. Morris White Zinfandel

o Barton & Guestier 96 Chardonnay vin de pays d'oc

Hi Whitecloud and welcome to the board. None of the wines you list are coveted collector items. Most are probably over the hill. Having said that, if the mood of the auction is giving they mite bring some bids. They wont improve so give them or drink them. WW

I'll donate them and hope that someone's in a generous mood. Thanks for the info. By the way do any of you know what happened to Glen-Ellen winery. I couldn't find anything on them on the www. The website address I found was down.
