Ok, I have a number of questions, and I'm hoping that someone can answer them quickly -
1. My parents are having guests for dinner tonight and don't ever drink wine. They found a bottle of Sutter Home 1994 California Cabernet Sauvignon (I know I butchered the spelling, sorry) in their garage - it was a gift, presumably from a while ago. Is there any possibility it is still good?
2. If it is still good, is red wine served chilled?
3. If it is still good, can it be served with salmon?
4. It if is still good but shouldn't be served with salmon (with a honey mustard sauce) or if it isn't still good, can you recommend a good wine?

Thanks for your help - my parents are having their guests over in a few hours, so any quick help is greatly appreciated.

The wine is made for early consumption. It obviously was not stored properly. So to answer your question, it probably is a goner...

Well, chilled is relative. I like my CS at about 65 or so.

As for your other questions, WW as always is right on the money.
