hey there,
we found some wines that my father had been keepnig in his basement for a while - they are: 1964 Cornas (Ardeche); 1971 Chateau Melscot St. Exupery (Margaux); 1970 Chataeu Brune-Cantenac (Margaux). I was wondering whether anyone knew anything about these - whether they are worth anything and how best to store them?

Hi Malcome and welcome to the board. You have some wines thats' only value is as curiosities. The 70 could possilbly still be drinkable but the 64 and 71 are dead soldiers. Sorry. Open them and have some fun. They 'haint gonna' git no better. WW
