I was recently given a bottle of wine. It is a riesling. It is called "Relax". I am looking for any information on this wine.
Thanks

Hi Rad and welcome to the Wine Board. Is there any other information on the bottle? Does it have courntry of origin, producer, vintage (date), or any other information?

Relax is made by Schmitt-Sohne in Germany. Here's their link that provides more info.

Hi radman.. I hope you'll let us know how you like the Riesling. I'm quite the novice wine drinker myself and Rieslings are wines I've come to really enjoy. We had some wonderful ones in the Finger Lakes. I hope you'll enjoy being part of the board. I've found some very friendly, unsnobbish and knowledgeable folks here!

I live in California and am looking for any information on how to purchase the "relax riesling" in northern california. So far, I have only seen it available in other states. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Wine Board, Nells. It's surprising you can't find the Relax. Schmitt-Sohne is widely available in CA. In your area, I'd try K&L, Beltramos, BevMo or even the Wine Club down by SJO. Just because you don't see it or they say they don't have it, doesn't mean you can't get it. Schmitt-Sohne is widely available in CA, so if one of the shops above doesn't have it, ask them to get you some.
