Do you have any wine bars around you? This might be a great way for you to try some (a few) of the wines on your list without having to invest heavily in bottles. Just order flights and you can compare!

Great way to taste the wines, blow off some steam and just have a good time.

PS - much of wine is Chemistry, although I'm sure your professor wouldn't agree!

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try some out, probably next Tuesday. Oh, and thanks to my Chem teacher, I now know the Lewis dot structures for both wine, and what happens to wine when you don't drink it fast enough!

I can tell you what happens if you drink it too fast.

I'm sure your chemistry teacher was thrilled that you were asking. No kidding. All teachers love it when students can apply what they are being taught into their own lives. So what did he/she say about it. I'm curious as well. Please try to keep it simple for me, though. Not really good in the sciences.

Hey Georgie! Me too! It wasn't a pleasant morning the next day. Anyways, wine is basically ethanol and if left to sit it becomes acetic acid, or its more commonly known moniker- expensive vinegar. He had a good laugh and mentioned that it was probably a good thing my class is so late in the day!
