Hello all. What would you suggest to serve with a Roast maple pork? It will be very sweet. Serving along side basmati rice, and roasted asparagas. Thanks in advance. MS

Having never tasted such a dish, I can only guess. Here goes.

A high-acid wine like a dry Riesling. Another possibility: Brut style sparkling wine. Yet another possibility (and the more interesting one): Sercial or Verdelho Madeira.

I would go with an off dry wine. An M-S-R Spatlese Riesling or an Extra Dry sparkler.

Well I ended up serving the pork with a very dry French Chardonnay. It was pretty good. The maple syrup glaze really brightened up the pork and kept it moist. The chardonnay was a good match, although I think a sweeter wine, like the ones recommended would be just as good. Perhaps next time!? Thanks for your insight. MS
