Looking to compare two different brands of California Wine: Forest Glen, and Round Hill. All opinions welcome.

Hi Barons, and welcome to the Wine Board. You identified the brands, but not the wine. Which wine, made by both do you want us to compare?

Even not knowing the wines, I'd give Forest Glen the nod -- always a pretty decent QPR wine.

Hate to disagree with the Buckmeister, but sight unseen, would go with Round Hill. The Forest Glen Chardonnay tastes more like a woodpile than any other wine I've ever had.

Better yet, give them both a try and decide! My wife and I prefer Round Hill. They also sell an up-market wine: Van Aspren (sp) that is very good.
