I am new at this,(both the board and an interest in Wine). I will go ahead and purchase "Wine for Dummies". I find many of these posts very interesting. I am learning from reading.
My question is - I have had a bottle of KJ Collage which I liked, I was so surprised when I read about it on the board/ (I know that it is a combination) - I am wondering if someone has a suggestion for another bottle of (red) Zin.

There are a host of tasty Zins out there. Peachy Canyon, Cline, Renwood, Rosenblum.....

ltg, in the $18-25 range Fife zins are worth a try as well. Otherwise, go down to the Zinfandel forum of this Board & review notes from the past few months for other ideas.

Okay, I'm no pro, but I know what I like. I had a 97 Turning Leaf Red Zin the other night (with enchiladas) and it was FANTASTIC (in my humble opinion!)!!
