I am looking for an Italian white table wine that I had some time ago and do not remember the name. Had a strong granny smith apple taste. Sweet and light. Had an Italian name like "Masterangelo" or something like that.

Hi Curious, and welcome to the Wine Board. Could it be Montescudaio? It is a dry but very fruity white from Tuscany; made from the Trebbiano, Malvasia, and Vermentino grapes.

Innkeeper:

That could be it. are you familiar with the packaging of this wine. Because I remember the bottle. It was green with a cream colored label as well as the wrapper on the top of the bottle

Am not familiar with the wrapper. The only bottle I can think of offhand that meets that description is Verdicchio del Castelli di Jesi by Fasi-Battaglia.

Could it be "Masterberardino"? They make a Lacryma Christi that might fit the bill and it's widely distributed.
