i own a bottle of 1961 Chateau d yquem. Is it worth anything, or has it turned to vinegar? It has been kept in a cool cellar.

Concertmastere, If the storage is as you wrote , you have a wonderful drinking experience in front of you. The vintage wasn`t one of the classic for Sauternes , but I`ve had some older d`Yquems` and they are wines that do age. If the color is anywhere from light to dark copper, pull the cork on that sucker with your significant other and enjoy! Winoweenie
