Are these wines still OK to drink?

1981-83 Chateau Gloria St. Julien, Henri Martin

1983 Chateau Larose-Trintaudon, Haut-Medoc

Assuming proper storage (on their sides or upside down in fairly steady temperatures somewhere between 54 and 64 degrees with good humidity) they should be JUST coming into their best phase. Open them with some nice lamb or at least a poultry dish with lots of mushrooms and enjoy.

Rachel welcome to the Wine Board. You know, Rockville is not too very far from Virginia Beach. Let me know if you need any help in opening and decanting those wonderful wines of yours!!
