The proportions of what you have are fine. So long as other things such as eating, dancing, etc (not just wine drinking) will be going on, one full case (12 bottles) should be fine.

Just a suggestion- If any serious wine lovers are coming, let them know if there is a certain type of wine they enjoy, they are welcome to bring it to the party. Most people are usually glad to bring a bottle of wine with them.

Something else to consider- Most recommendations I've seen suggest 3/4 of a bottle to a full bottle per guest, provided that all guests are wine drinkers. If some are not wine drinkers, then Innkeepers suggestion should be pretty accurate. I'd still encourage some of your friends to B.Y.O.B.- better to have too much wine than not enough!

What are you serving at your party? The dishes you deliver to your guests may be the clue to the wines you should offer.
