Are there long term issues with storing Whites in the firdge? In the summer, I'm never sure what I'm gonna drink with Dinner until, well, dinner time. And if we go White, it's not cold enough. Can I stick a bottle or 2 in with the beer for a few weeks? That's gotta be ok, right? just not for years in there.

A few weeks is fine, but not much longer. The problem with a regular fridge is that it has very low humidity. This will cause the cork to shrink, and air to get in. If you have one of new screw tops, this should not be a problem.

I've heard (I can't recall where) that there are problems caused by the vibrations of the refrigerater motor. Is that just an urban myth?

The vibrations can affect the wine somewhat, but over an extended period of time. Any short term storage shouldn't be a problem.

ahhh humidity, didn't think about that. But it makes sense. I don't think the wine will last much longer than a few weeks in the fridge, so I think I'll go for it. Thanks!
