I am going to a party and would like to bring a dry full-bodied cab; the host/hostess know their wines and I do not! I'm tight on time and availability to purchase before tomorrow!! THANK YOU

You might look for a Clos du Bois Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County (IK commented on the 1998 on the Cabernet Sauvignon thread). I liked the 1998 Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon and the 1999 should have even more character. However, it's not carried everywhere. Another alternative is an Australian cabernet or blend such as Rosemount Cabernet/Shiraz. What's available depends a lot on whether shopping at a grocery store or a specialty wine shop. If the store has a wine manager or buyer, ask for help and recommendations in the range you want to spend.
