My wife and I like very sweet and mild wines but have not found one that gives us a consistant taste. I have tried different types referred to me by wine dealers, but have not yet found one that we like. Do you know of any wines that we would enjoy?

Hi Denny and welcome to the Wine Board. Try to find a nice Lambrusco, preferably one made by a producer other than Reunite.

Hi Denny! Welcome!

We usually keep a couple of 1.5 liter bottles of Zonin Lambrusco on hand 'cuz it is nice/sweet, very consistent and partners well with a bunch of food. From the states, we also keep a couple of bottles J. Lohr Monterey Valdiquie, a nice Ca. Beaujolais, under the counter for the same reasons.
Keep try'in!

Step up to Marietta Old Vines #29
It's somewhat sweet like ripe berries!
+ It has a little more heft to it!
(& it's priced well.)

Hi Denny

Look for Quady Electra. It is light and low in alcohol (4%). It also has enough acid to keep it from cloying. Reminds one of apricots. Should cost less than ten bucks.
