Hello...I would like to know what other wines would be comparable to white zinfindale, i feel like an amature drinking it, but it seems to be the only one I enjoy.

Nothing wrong with drinking what you enjoy...

Welcome to the board, SG. Look down the threads and see what others have been commenting on lately. White zin is rather sweet, and nothing is really comparable. But you can broaden your horizons with Sauvignon Blancs, or perhaps German Rieslings (to stay with white wines), or Roses; or you can try Beaujolais, especially a Beaujolais Villages. The enjoyment of wine is an evolutionary experience; even those of us who have been swilling the stuff for 40 years or so still learn somethong new every day. Enjoy the ride.

SG,

Can you describe what it is about the other varieties you have not liked? The differances between the varieties of wines are significant. The more information about your likes/dislikes, the better the reccomendation can be.

Blush wines, like White Zin, also come in other varieties of "white ...." You can find white shiraz, merolt, cab etc. If you like one, its reasonable that you may like another.

Drink what you like, for sure. Some feel that White Zin is a good match for Southern style barbecue.

But if you want to branch out, you might see if you have a wine in your area called Vivacious Vicky. It comes in a white and a red, but the white is closer to what you're used to drinking. It's made by Kiona Vineyards in Washington State(white is from Chenin Blanc). It's my experience that many people, including newbies, like this wine.

If you're willing to try something that's typically a bit drier, lots of people love Pinot Grigio.
