My father died recently, and among his things my mother found 3 bottles of liquor he brought with him when he returned from France in 1945. They were most likely purchased either in the U.S. Army PX where he worked in Paris, or in NYC on the way home. Two have NYC importer labels. We have no idea if these have any value and would greatly appreciate some direction. The 3 include: 1)Grand Armagnac Brandy, St. Jacques Grande Reserve, with a necklance stating the brandy is 50 years old; 2) Burdon, Spain, John William Burdon Golden Oloroso Sherry; 3) Cuvill Oloroso NE Plus Ultra Sherry, bottled in Spain. Should we auction them, drink them, or pitch them?

Thank you for your time and kindness.

Hansie

Bucko, any thoughts on these? I don't know enough to answer although these are really getting old.

The brandy is ageless, but I have no idea on the Sherries.

So don't drink the brandy; sell it?
Any idea who I could contact to find out about the sherries?

Thank you so much for your help!
