just wondering...
i think the subject line says enough?

It's based on the number of posts you've made. The trigger to change you from "new member" to "member" is set pretty low - less than 10, as I recall.

Believe it is the subjective decision of the moderator. As you can tell by the quality of the posts of many of us "members", the postings don't necessarily have to be top drawer.

Don't believe to my knowledge Danni that no-ones ever set a number. As far as I'm concerned, after you've had the ole' " Welcome to the board " shot, You Be A Member. WW

ok. thank you all. i love this site. i noticed that most all of you who are replying to me are "regulars." you must get a lot of people like me in here. do you all buy/sell wine or just enjoy drinking it?

- hotwine - 07-20-2001

There are a few people who are ITB (in the business) who frequent this site, but most of us louts just enjoy the juice.

- hotwine - 07-20-2001

I was being overly simplistic with that post, and unfair to our members, some of whom are winemakers, writers, retailers, serious collectors and/or investors. I'M one of those louts who just enjoys the juice!

Based on the alcohol control laws in the U.S. I'd say we are all considered louts--and sinners too...
