Jackie,

The flag for "you last logged on" is stuck on the date when I first registered.

Because of that, the yellow (new posts) and white (no new posts) light bulbs for the forums remain always the same, regardless of when I log on.

Also the orange and yellow folders within each forum remain the same. No matter how many times I've visited, I am always told that I have not read any of the postings since I last logged on.

Has anyone else reported this problem?

Thanks!!

Hi MrDutton!

No one else has reported this problem. I suspect that you may be looking at a cached version of the web page, or you may be accessing the site through a proxy server that is sending you a cached version.

Try this: hold down the SHIFT key on your keyboard and hit the "reload" or "refresh" button at the top of your browser (by the 'BACK' button). This should refresh everything for you and a new date will appear. See if this works. Also, be sure that you have your browser set to accept all cookies, since the cookie is actually what keeps track of the date of your last visit. This is a safe and easy thing to do. Let me know, if you need instructions.

Thanks for letting us know of this difficulty.

Jackie

Hello Jackie!

Thanks for the information. I am using IE 5.0 as my browser. Cookies are enabled.

I tried [shift-refresh] and it did not work. My "your last login date is" is still set at December 23, 1999 at 04:14.

I made sure my computer's cache was empty and then accessed this site again. Still the date was set at December 23, 1999.

Oh, well. Just a minor thing anyway.

Thanks,

Michael R. Dutton

It worked today, March 5, 2000, for the very first time.
