Don't tell me he has been Spectorized -- he'll never talk to us again, only Robin Leech.

When I saw the article on new NYC wine shops, I skimmed it looking for Is Wine; when I didn't spot it I blew it off as incomplete. Now I've got to go back and read the article!

Hotsie ole cow-poke, You of all people should know the only thin' you skim is milk. WW

- hotwine - 03-20-2001

Not even that, WW. But WS articles are so shallow, and so poorly integrated with the glitzy photography, that I rarely bother to read them. I'll have to confess that the value of the magazine to me is in the "Grapevine" column and the collection of ads. Anyway, hats off to the Food-man for getting even a brief mention in the Marvin-mag.

- chittychattykathy - 03-21-2001

As was mentioned elsewhere, any press is good press, even WS press. Congrats!

- Thomas - 03-21-2001

I feel badly about this matter, since I neither subscribe to nor read the magazine I haven't seen the mention that fifty people have told me about. But then, I did send the press release and pictures.

I give good press release!!!!!

I guess the Speculator corrected the "bourgeois" reference to Is-Wine in Wine & Spirits, eh Foodie?

Cheers,

Scoop

You be rite Misser Foodster Sir. They's talkin' all over the lower east side about you givin' good hed-lines. WW

- Thomas - 03-22-2001

Oh my ww, you is raunchyyyyyy!

Scoop, the Spectator did say something about punk neighborhood. An image is hard to shake.

Incidentally, a close reading of the Spectator piece shows a lifting from the NY Times.

- chittychattykathy - 03-22-2001

Foodie,
I am sure that lifting is really just a "conicedense".
Big timer now, lucky you...
(we don't even have a "free" magazine rack from um.)
